Obituary A gentle spirit, a beautiful life
Mary Louise Johnson, age 64, of Kansas City, Missouri, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, January 4, 2025, surrounded by the love of her family. Mary was born on March 15, 1960, in Kansas City, Missouri, where she was raised and educated. From a young age, she was known for her kind heart, warm smile, and quiet strength. She graduated from the Kansas City Public School System and later built a long and dedicated career in customer service and healthcare support. Mary took pride in treating everyone she met with dignity, patience, and respect. Faith and family were at the center of Mary’s life. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. Her greatest joy came from spending time with her children and grandchildren—whether that meant cheering from the stands at games, cooking Sunday dinners, or simply talking around the kitchen table late into the evening. Her home was a place of comfort, laughter, and unconditional love. Mary enjoyed listening to gospel and soul music, cooking family recipes passed down through generations, and volunteering with church and community outreach events when she was able. She had a gentle way of offering wisdom, often speaking softly but leaving a lasting impact on those who listened. Her presence was steady and reassuring, and she had a gift for making others feel seen and cared for. She leaves to cherish her memory her children, extended family, and a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends who will forever be grateful for the time they shared with her. Mary’s kindness, faith, and quiet strength will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. Though Mary will be deeply missed, her legacy of love, compassion, and grace will remain a guiding light for her family for years to come.
